During the Liberal Party of Canada (Alberta)’s 2020 Convention in Edmonton, elections will be held for the LPC(A) Board of Directors and the Alberta executive of each Commission.
The LPC(A) Board is a team of volunteers from across the province who are passionate about promoting Liberal values, growing our movement, and building a better future for Albertans and all Canadians. They include community leaders, parents, and professionals who volunteer their time to participate in this role. The board works together to provide oversight and guidance to the Party in election readiness, organizational, and policy development matters.
The four commissions are the Indigenous Peoples’ Commission, the Women’s Liberal Commission, the Senior Liberals’ Commission, and the Young Liberals. Commissions add vitality and diverse perspectives to the Liberal Party and provide a forum for engagement and representation of a demographic group of Registered Liberals.
